About TX WEA
TX WEA, based in Paris, France, was founded in 2002 to provide exceptionally easy to use CD/DVD recording solutions to consumers and small business.

TX’s AutoSave product line, powered by Soft-R’s self recording technology, takes the hassle out of saving important files by embedding an easy to use software application directly on a CD-R or DVD+R disc that is application specific.
No software installation is required, upon insertion of the disc into a CD/DVD recorder, the application will launch and walk the user through the simple recording process.

History:

- 2002:

Creation of the company TX-WEA that will sell products under its new brand: Think Xtra (TX).

- 2005:

TX WEA opens its CD/DVD media production lines in China.
TX WEA works on a special Hybrid CD-R project and introduce in France, Spain and Poland the first CD Soft-R disc to the market.

- 2006:

Based on the feedback TX got from the first CDSoft-R discs, TX tuned and present to the market the CDSoft-R Photo, which targets Digital camera users.

- 2007:

14 Millions CDSoft-R Photo already sold in few country of Europe.

TX introduces the CDSoft-R Cryptex, the first CD-R to allow user to easily protect file and folder with AES 256 bit encryption and passwords.

TX presents DVDSoft-R Outlook, which allows end users an uncomplicated way to securely archive emails directly from Outlook.

- 2008:

Since 2006 the number of CDSoft-R Photo sold in Europe goes over 20 Million units.

TX present its AutoSave product family based on Soft-R discs.

TX is now present in France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Eastern Europe.
After its successful exhibition in Dubai (Gitex), TX initiates New Zeland, and GCC and North Africa.

TX opens new distribution channel in the USA.
